Good enough fridge

FFHT1425 fridge arrived a few days ago. It cools and defrosts itself adequately. But contrary to what the website chat person told me before I bought it, there is NO BACK COVER PANEL on the rear bottom of the fridge. I rigged a ventilated panel from my previous fridge to somewhat cover the exposed wiring. The overall fridge dimensions were as shown in the specs. It's pretty quiet, doesn't seem to have lots of things to go wrong (like bluetooth, wifi, "smart app" connectivity, etc.) Reminds me of the workhorse fridge from my childhood.

I do not like huge fancy refrigerators so this small one really meets my needs. It™™s very tastefully done on the interior. I also like that there are no protruding handle for food, dirt, etc to catch in

Was limited as to what size refridgerator would fit through my interior doors and living by myself I settled on this 13.9 Cu. Ft. Frigidaire. Once plugged in it cooled down to 35° in 2-3 hours and is so much quieter than my old fridge. Being shorter than my old unit I filled the space with a seasonal knick knack!

Upon arrival of the fridge, just by the quality and texture of it I already knew it was not going to disappoint me. When opening the fridge your met with many space and different areas such as ™deli meat & fruits™, allowing you to section of your groceries. Also, on the door handle you have plenty of storage space for anything you desire from Juices, water, butter perhaps lol. Then the freezer is just as spacious as the fridge. Very deep and includes shelf spacing. One last thing I would like to bring up is the performance of the fridge, the temperature is freezing so please be aware when you set this on the highest temperature and that was one of the things I looked for in a fridge. This definitely didn™™t disappoint and I™™m truly happy with my purchase.

Works great the only thing I don't like is the sticky covers that cover where insulation was put in at least that is what I was told, the sticky patches were coming off so pushed down again so far so good.

The brand new fridge was delivered on 8/16/24 (about 9 am). Prior to arrival, I removed the 3-year-old one that quit on me after the 1 year limited warranty expired (despite 3 visits of the same technician guy. He said it was the wrong design of the freezer drainage system that build lots of ice/icicle). After the customary greetings, it was an easy placement of the new fridge by the delivery guys in the garage corner. The observation begun, after about 3 hrs, the freezer compartment was on the recommended temperature. I moved the thermometer below compartment and likewise was on the recommended temperature. Then I put back some stuff in the freezer and refrigerator compartment. After 24 hrs. (temperature checked), so far so good. Before the 48 hrs., I checked the whole in and out my new fridge, well satisfied. The reason I rated it 3 out of 5 (being a homeowner for 35 years), are the quality differences of the before appliances and the current ones. Like this fridge drawers that are made of soft plastic materials? I care less about the arrangement or set up of the shelves, compartments or drawers. I wish to make a follow-up review a year from the delivery date, hoping to give it a full rating or beyond. From lesson learned, I took a 5 year extended warranty. (FYI, almost all my big appliances lasted more than 15 years)

Really like this new refrigerator. I needed something compact for a small space and it works perfectly. The inside has a good amount of space and I love the glass shelving as well. It's a perfect fit. You can't go wrong with this model and this company. They have a great reputation.

Nice looking refrigerator, holds a lot for being compact. I was able to use a discount from creating an account that made a real difference compared to local prices with delivery. The delivery men were polite & had it ready quickly. The crisper drawer could slide smoother than it does. Maybe I am doing it wrong. The humidity control vent is great. The moveable deli drawer is nice. Tons of door storage space is great since it eliminated the warmer door issues of the past. I wasn't sure if I would mind no butter cubby, I'm not missing it. I wasn't sure if I would like the clear shelves and drawers but I do. Nice to not have to open to look. It runs very quiet so far, even cooling, no condensation issues in southeast Texas climate. It is energy star rated at this size and price which is huge for me. I like the curved front in the white smooth finished door. The sides are textured but does not clash at all. I will have to switch the side the doors open from but it works great so far. When you close fridge door with a push, the freezer door opens a few millimeters and closes. I don't see a problem here. It is just the force of the closing mechanism. You can avoid by slower closing by hand instead of a shove & let go. Even with the shove method, it has not created any condensation around the seals which hold well and even. I could have gone a little bigger but am happy with the purchase so far. I wish I could bring all my appliances into the modern age. I would buy again.

I purchased this fridge in February and it stopped working two weeks ago. The repairmen said the freon leaked out and I needed a new part. I am still waiting for the replacement part and customer service has been nightmare to deal with.

After 22 years my refrigerator broke and I had to purchase a new one based on what could fit in my home and kitchen. PC Richards recommended this model based on the specification and dimensions of my old refrigerator. BIG MISTAKE. I regret going with Frigidaire, which was one a reputable and trusted brand. These fridges are made like trash and the energy star components are not made the way they used to be. I have had 3 refrigerators of this brand and model delivered. First refrigerator was dented and defective, so the delivery men never even brought it in the home. Second refrigerator the door did not close correctly, made noise everytime it opened and closed, and the refrigerator noises were loud and constant and could be heard throughout the home. After placing some food and water in the refrigerator, it ran constantly and the sides of the refrigerator were very hot to the touch as well, which was worrisome and I was told by customer service to unplug it and that a replacement would be sent. Third refrigerator was fine at first, until I put food in it. I waited one hour after delivery before plugging it in and let it be empty for over 24 hours, as recommended. The problems began again after placing food and beverages in it. It was not keeping the food cold, everything was warm and condensated. It was running for hours, making a humming sound and and it was extremely hot on both of the sides of the refrigerator. Each time I spoke with a representative they told me to unplug it and that they would work with me to solve the problem. Instead of replacing this third refrigerator, they want to send a technician to see if it is defective. I don't want this refrigerator! At this point I just want my money back or to replace the refrigerator with a different brand and model. The customer service number that you need to contact regarding any problems has not been very understanding. I don't want a technician to come check it. It is brand new and it has only been 3 days. This is no acceptable. What happens in a few weeks or a month from now? Am I going to be sent a technician each time there is a problem? Is this going to be a regular occurrence? The technician can't come to look at it for two weeks. What am I supposed to do about food and beverage? This is not ok. It is inexcusable. And reading the manual for this appliance it is worrisome to even have it in the home, given all the warnings about what could happen when a technician works on it. I am the consumer. This is my money and my investment. Show some respect to the consumers and if they do not want the product anymore, take it back and refund the money. Believe me this will be disputed, reported with the Better Business Bureau and if needed the media, like ABC 7 News, 7 on Your Side or Fox 5 News, Shame on You. It's just unacceptable. The quality of the products these days are so low and for the prices consumers pay for products that are of such poor quality is a whole other issue.

Refrigerator is smaller than i thought it would be. i didn't get a change to go to an appliance store to look at and order on line. Refrigerator seems to be working good. every thing is stay cold a freezer is good too. There seems to be hot spot on the sides of it but this may be normal.

I returned a store brand 10 cubic ft. refrigerator that did not get cold enough. The Frigidaire has separate controls for freezer and main compartments. The middle setting is perfect. I'm still getting used to the glass shelves. I'm afraid I am going to drop something and break one. I use this as a second refrigerator next to the washing machine because our kitchen will not hold a full size refrigerator.

We went from a larger size refrigerator to this smaller size. At first I was skeptical because of the smaller size but I was so wrong. Actually it seems to have a much space and it forced us to realize we do not need to keep so much stuff in the refrigerator. Could not be happier with the refrigerator.

They say "when it rains it pours" and wow they are right. On May 10th, my partner was diagnosed with a malignant brain tumor. On May 20th, she had a craniotomy. It's been a tornado inside a hurricane for weeks since and somehow in that time, our existing fridge broke down. I have had this refrigerator a little over a month and can say I™™m very pleased with it. I never realized how bad my old refrigerator was working until I got this one. All my food especially fresh berries stay fresh longer & the foods I put in the freezer freeze very quickly.
